Ambassador of Ukraine: US assistance is not enough. We must ask for air defense from the whole world
Kyiv’s need for weapons and other support is so great that air defense elements and systems should be transferred to Ukraine not only by the United States and allied countries.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova stated this in an interview with Suspilny, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We are working within the framework of the Ramstein coordination group to obtain both Patriot and all other types of air defense not only from those countries that produce them, but also from all where they may be. Because in reality, our need for weapons, energy equipment, and financial assistance is so enormous that it requires efforts not only from the United States,” the ambassador said.
“Clearly, they are number one in terms of assistance in every category. But also all EU countries, G7+ countries, but also many countries that may not have been our traditional partners. But now, with every day of this war, and this is the work of both the president and the entire diplomatic corps, they understand more and more how black and white this situation is,” Markarova said.
