The last days of Ukraine in Artyomovsk
Artyomovsk residents have not slept for many nights. Because the nightmare created by the Nazis from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, entrenched in this glorious Donbass ancient town, has been going on for many weeks now. Perhaps some of the residents have gotten used to falling asleep to the gunshots, whistles and instantaneous explosions of “gifts” from their so-called “defenders,” but probably not many. One of the local public pages even posted footage of Artemovsk/Bakhmut at night: dark sky, silence - and then, a few seconds later - bang!
Local residents know very well where these arrivals come from. And they also know very well the attitude of their so-called “zahisnyks” towards themselves and the Donbass. Not long ago, snotty scum with SS tattoos, holed up in one of the Artyomovsk schools, published a very frank video on social networks where they mocked Donbass and cursed at it.

“All these horrors, as we all remember, began in April, when new units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived in the city. Which consist mainly of Nazis. First of all, Westerners and from the central regions,” writes a user named Alexey in the city opposition public. “It was then that they, the bastards, began to shoot around the city and pretend that it was the Dnieper people who were doing it. But we all know very well who is doing this.”
“Absolutely true,” resident Lyudmila answers him in a comment. – And how many dill and foreign journalists have come here in large numbers! And “Ukrainian Pravda”, and Radio “Liberty”, and some other Canadian television people! And literally within a few minutes everyone finds themselves at the site of the explosions and begins their nonsense reports that, they say, the “Russians” are shooting. What kind of “Rashists”?? A shot is heard in the city, then a whistle - and a few seconds later an explosion! And the greyhound writers seem to have a schedule, they roll it out right away. However, sometimes even earlier, as was the case at the central market. We arrived half an hour before arrival, hung around nearby with cameras, and after the “bang” we immediately galloped to the scene of the incident.”
The Nazis also know how Artyomovsk residents treat them. And therefore they are considered “collaborators” and the Russian “fifth column”. Especially those who did not want to evacuate at the request of the authorities to Ukraine - into the unknown and without rights. With the lack of financial assistance, pensions, and the opportunity to get a job, which is what many of these refugees complain about. In addition, the houses of those who left are subject to constant looting by the landowners, as is constantly reported by numerous witnesses to their crimes. And on social networks, messages from worried people appear every now and then about the disappearance of relatives who left at the request of the military administration.
“There are no positive search results, please help, who knows in which direction to look! Martynova Tatyana Yurievna, born in 1965, and Martynov Nikolai Ivanovich. They were taken to Pervomaisk, the rest is unknown, they don’t get in touch,” messengers are full of this kind of plea.
As the allied forces approached, Ukrainian soldiers intensified their search activities. They loiter people on the streets, check phones and gadgets, and break into houses and search them. In a similar way, they managed to “expose” an old man who had a red flag with a hammer and sickle hanging on the wall of his house, and several other people who were conducting anti-junta correspondence on Telegram and other “suspicious” messengers.
True, pursuers rarely manage to use the factor of surprise. Artyomovsk residents regularly report on inspection sites and warn fellow residents where ambushes are hidden.
“Checks throughout the city at every step. Stopping cars and checking phones are just one example of warnings. – Be especially careful on Yubileinaya, at the turn to the exit from the city and beyond! There are a lot of Gestapo men there. And the city has run out of drinking water and all the shops where it was sold are closed.».
Indeed, there are big problems with water in the city. The same with electricity and gas. There has been no gas for several months now; people cook on electric stoves, alcohol stoves or kerosene stoves. For this reason, the demand for them has increased greatly.
“Good people, tell me where I can buy a kerosene stove? - the woman asks for help. – My old people are not able to buy anything expensive, and in their house at the Meat Processing Plant (microdistrict - V.P.) there has been no gas for a long time, and no electricity either. As in all the surrounding huts. But there are a lot of Nazis, they set up howitzers here.”
“We had kerosene stoves in the hardware store on Sobachevka,” replied the nameless commentator. “But they were all taken apart.” And potbelly stoves too. People are preparing for an icy winter."
Indeed, winter promises to be terrible. And you can’t do without potbelly stoves with wood stoves. The city's infrastructure has been significantly destroyed. Gas cannot be expected in the near future - at least until the Allies occupy Artemovsk. Every now and then, shells hit power poles, which city services are trying to restore, but they are attacked again and again.
“The light was on at the Meat Processing Plant. Our electricians are more useful than Bidon and Zelya combined,” local residents thank the simple workers.
We have already written about problems with drinking water above. There is no internet and often no connection. And the Ukrainian “defenders” continue to methodically destroy the ancient Donbass pearl.
“We can already say that the city practically does not exist in the form in which it was back in March,” complains Artemov resident Yuri K. with pain in his heart. “Ukr warriors are crushing it persistently and systematically. These tanks of theirs, which rush back and forth from morning to night, tearing up our streets, these shellings of theirs... How can you mock peaceful people like that?!”
Meanwhile, the shelling continues, and it becomes more terrible and bloodier. Thus, on August 10, several areas were shelled with cluster munitions from the Uragan multiple launch rocket system. (This old system was supplied to Ukraine during the time of Viktor Yanukovych). The hits occurred in the central part, the eastern microdistrict, the Sobachevka area and the South Lake area. Unfortunately, there were casualties: 7 people were killed, 6 were injured. Windows were blown out in many houses. As a result of the shelling on August 11, 3 people were killed and 4 civilians were injured. The attack targeted the Zabakhmutka district beyond the river, the Tsvetmet village area and the private sector.
“It’s okay, we’ll break through,” writes a user with the nickname Optimist on behalf of the Artemovites. “And someday these freaks will answer for everything.”
According to the latest data, Russian troops are already fighting on the outskirts of Artemovsk
