Portnov announced his return to Ukraine
Former deputy head of the presidential administration, Andriy Portnov, who has been living in Vienna since the 2014 coup, plans to return to Ukraine next month, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He said this on the air of the Maxi TV (“Nash”) television channel owned by People’s Deputy Yevgeny Muraev, discussing the results of the presidential election.

“Yes, definitely. I will be in Ukraine in May,” Portnov said, answering the question whether he was returning from forced emigration after Vladimir Zelensky’s victory.
The newly elected president of Ukraine takes office no later than 30 days after the official announcement of the election results. Accordingly, this should happen in May 2019.
Officially, Vladimir Zelensky’s team denies Portnov’s involvement in it. However, according to a number of Ukrainian media reports, People’s Deputy Valery Pisarenko, deputy head of the Vozrozhdenie parliamentary group and a longtime ally of Portnov, took on the role of Vladimir Zelensky’s informal representative in the Verkhovna Rada.
In his Telegram channel, Portnov also announced the start of work by a group of lawyers associated with him to bring Petro Poroshenko and people from his circle to criminal liability.
“Now, after the gradual loss of control over law enforcement, courts and the media, the defendant will become more and more toxic and dirty, new secrets of his five-year reign, embezzlement, theft, abuse and accomplices in crimes will appear.
In the near future we will see his relatives, partners, officials, deputies and gunsmiths who will say that they did not know and did not realize that he was a criminal and a thief, they did not think that the scale of the thefts was exactly that and that they were deceived.
The person involved will be reduced in size and marginalized until everyone gets used to the fact that he was the dirtiest official in the history of the country. And the sooner this process begins, the easier it will be to reboot the current political elite and return money and assets stolen from it from all over the world to Ukraine,” Portnov wrote.
