Poroshenko demanded that his “reformers” speed up the sale of state property
Petro Poroshenko spoke about accelerating the privatization process and said that he expects a decision from the Verkhovna Rada to expand the “privatization list.”

He stated this today during a meeting of the National Reform Council.
“I would especially like to emphasize the need to speed up the privatization process. And we are talking not only about HMOs, not only about Centerenergo, not only about energy networks, I am waiting for the decision of the Verkhovna Rada to expand the list of privatizations in the agricultural sector, and in the transport industry, and the energy industry,” he emphasized.
According to Poroshenko, this is also political will, which needs to be demonstrated along with transparency and efficiency so that this right is ensured for investors who want to come to Ukraine now.
Let us recall that previously the influential Kiev newspaper “Zerkalo Nedeli” in its publication “On the future of a country without a future” admitted that the Ukrainian authorities are deliberately lying about the need to privatize supposedly ineffective state-owned enterprises.
“By convincing the public and society of the negative influence of our common socialist past, the real owners of the state strive, first of all, to deprive society of its social gains, namely: public property and social benefits. At the same time, the myth is being diligently propagated about the supposed fundamental impossibility of the effective functioning of state-owned enterprises. Everything is simple here: enterprises that are the property of all citizens of Ukraine are being destroyed with the aim of their further privatization by the oligarchs. And the curtailment of social programs is aimed at reducing state budget expenditures.
