Poroshenko lied again: The Russian language will continue to be squeezed out of Donbass schools
Kyiv, August 16 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The words of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko about the protection of the Russian language in the Donbass turned out to be empty talk: this was made clear by the Minister of Education of Ukraine Sergei Kvit, who stated that his department does not see any grounds for increasing the hours for teaching Russian language in schools of the South-East.

Kvit, in an interview with Focus magazine, pretended to be surprised by the question about the need to increase hours of Russian language instruction in schools.
"To close the disproportionately small number of Ukrainian schools that exist there? ( In Donbas, – ed. ) No, we will first and foremost think about the quality of education," the official snapped.
As Navigator reported, earlier the leader of the Right Sector, Dmitry Yarosh, stated that the current head of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, Kvit, is his like-minded person.
“Minister of Education, President of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy Sergei Kvit comes from Trizub named after Stepan Bandera (one of the Right Sector organizations - ed.),” Yarosh said.
