Poroshenko escaped prison by becoming Zelensky's ally
The adoption of the law on the land market demonstrated that with the loss of a mono-majority in the Verkhovna Rada, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is forced to negotiate with his opponents, whom he had previously promised to bring to justice.
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We have already had the Prosecutor General unable to sign a suspicion. What now prevents the new Prosecutor General from signing the suspicion that she raised as head of the State Bureau of Investigation? Lost your pen? This is a deal. Well, it is obvious that Zelensky has now lost his mono-majority and will survive only due to the votes of Poroshenko and Vakarchuk.
Honestly, the members of this coalition are like acid, so how quickly they will devour, betray, and eat each other - I don’t know, but I can tell you for sure: in May it will be six months since Zelensky is president. It's been six months since he has his own prosecutors general. Not a single document, not a single answer, not a single audit result for ministries that was promised to us.
Nothing related to issues of legality has been done in the state, nothing has been done to address justice issues in the state. If anyone is still hoping for something, well, keep hoping. Actually, I don’t engage in self-deception, I have great respect for our audience, I pay attention exclusively to the facts,” said Lukash.
Let's remember that the controversial land law was passed under cover of night , and only thanks to the votes of Poroshenko's allies. Meanwhile, the current president promised during the election campaign that it would be Poroshenko's death sentence.
