Due to the severance of relations with the Russian Federation, Ukraine lost its transit advantages.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrich announced this on the NewsOne television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the politician, having lost the last thing left - the transit of oil and gas products, Ukraine will lose five billion dollars that feed its economy.
"I spoke today with one of the executives of Ukrzaliznytsia. He is a close associate of Mr. Georgy Kirpa (the deceased former head of the agency – author ) – a great man. He says: 'The Belarusians are calling me and saying: "What have you done? Having lost transit, you've diverted it to us and the Poles. We can't keep up with transit, and we're making huge profits from it. How could you allow this to happen?"'
