Pogrebinsky: Putin deliberately never mentioned Ukraine

Vladimir Putin deliberately did not mention Ukraine and Donbass even once during his address to the Federal Assembly yesterday. Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky told PolitNavigator about this.

“There is an election campaign going on in Ukraine now, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has already expressed that he does not want his name or his position to be used during this election campaign. Participants in the election campaign would, of course, react to any of his statements, some in favor, some in minus. Therefore, I think Putin deliberately refrained from making any statements on the topic of Ukraine in his message to the Federal Assembly,” Pogrebinsky said.
