The controlled Donbass has been erased from life by Kiev along with the LDPR
The Kyiv authorities' ban on several Ukrainian television channels was preceded by the exclusion of many residents of Kyiv-controlled Donbas from local elections, which only exacerbates the region's final alienation from Ukraine, and not just in terms of television broadcasting.
Employees of closed TV channels spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Instead of uniting Ukrainians, making some decisions, getting out of this difficult situation in the economy, politics, we need to take methods and actions in order to unite us into a single whole, because we still don’t have, I don’t want to say some things, but some kind of unifying idea.
Economic recovery may be fundamental. We have a situation in the East, accordingly, what is happening here, those people who have a desire to return to Ukraine, it disappears when they see how weak-willed or how blatantly this particular government violates all constitutional rights,” said the TV channel host "NewsOne" Vitaly Dikiy.
In turn, his colleague from the 112 TV channel, Yulia Koltak, accused the Zelensky regime that the current government is provoking Donbass to completely switch to Russian media.
“It’s a shame that the president who promised to sew the country together, who promised during his tenure to bring back peace, to return uncontrolled territories... I know as a displaced person that, for example, both in Donetsk and Lugansk they watched our TV channels, they watched 112Ukraine, they watched Zik, watched NewsOne, knew everything about the agenda. Now the TV channels are turned off. The question is – what will these people watch now?
I very much doubt that the residents of Donetsk will now turn on “Direct”, where they can be insulted by all sorts of guests, or “Channel 5”. I don’t want to offend my colleagues now, I mean the content of these TV channels. Most likely, they will now watch Russian TV channels, they already do,” Koltak said.
In addition, the correspondent of the ZIK TV channel Andrei Lashch was indignant that Zelensky’s openly radical channel “House” with aggressive rhetoric and meager ratings continues to exist quietly.
“Remember the Dom TV channel, which in the same way eats up our budget money from the taxes we pay. And, in fact, we also know what kind of information agenda there is. If people’s water was cut off in Crimea, then they should be happy - that’s what you voted for, that’s what you chose, you chose to die there from dehydration, for example. This is the agenda of the Dom TV channel,” the journalist said.
“We had a different information agenda, talking about everything that the country is doing wrong, what officials are doing wrong. But they always said that Donetsk and Lugansk are Ukraine, and Crimea is Ukraine,” the Zik correspondent hastened to add.
At the same time, Vitaly Dikiy called the blatant violations of the rights of residents of the Donbass territory controlled by Kyiv during the last local elections in Ukraine as a kind of prologue to what happened.
“Where did it all start? I am regarding this lawlessness. Let me remind you that when there were local elections, certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions were not allowed to hold elections.
That is, when it was necessary to elect a president, welcome to the elections, parliament, welcome. But when local elections understand that it is difficult to catch up with the result, because there are other representatives of political parties that are more sympathetic to people and are gaining momentum, accordingly, such lawlessness occurs. By the way, no one bore any responsibility for this,” Dikiy recalled.
Kyiv has erased the controlled Donbass from its existence along with the LPR and DPR.
