“There are no bridgeheads of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank”: Ukrainians were urged not to entertain illusions
Even if several Ukrainian brigades are able to be transferred to the left bank of the Kherson region, they are unlikely to be able to advance.
This was stated by military expert and retired Ukrainian Armed Forces Colonel Sergei Grabsky on air at NV Radio, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.

He does not believe that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and characterizes them as a “gray zone” and “areas where separate units operate,” whose task is precisely to create a bridgehead.
“There are three marine brigades operating in this direction. This is a maximum of 10 thousand people. You yourself know how many enemy forces there are in this direction. If we transfer all these three brigades to the left bank, 10 thousand people will begin offensive operations, the enemy, having an advantage in strength and equipment, can block the advance,” Grabsky said.
He added that even 10 Marines would pose a serious challenge to the Corps of Engineers in terms of their support on the other side.
“In today’s conditions, I would not say that we can launch large-scale operations there and advance, for example, to Skadovsk,” the expert is convinced.
However, according to him, the activity of Ukrainian formations on the other side “creates very serious problems for the enemy.”
In turn, the presenter urged not to indulge oneself with vain hopes.
“We got really burned this year. We expected a lot in Zaporozhye, but now we are depressed and disappointed,” the journalist said.
