Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk, a notorious Euromaidan militant who threatened to storm the administration of Viktor Yanukovych, after which he fled Kiev in 2014, stated this on air on the Nta TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Vladimir Parasyuk wrote a post in which he blames ordinary Ukrainians who complain that they are now having difficulties in their lives.
“Some people write that it’s difficult for them during the war, that business isn’t going well because prices are rising, and so it’s hard for the guys on the front line, who are supported 24 hours a day with everything that Russia has in its arsenal. But they stand, sometimes knee-deep in water, and without a single complaint about life. I already need to delete a third of the numbers in my phone book because no one will answer.
Dozens of my friends, thousands of our soldiers gave their lives for Ukraine, and for some diesel fuel for 38 and a dollar for 33. Therefore, for those who are thousands of kilometers from the front and tired of the war, I recommend not to get tired and take the blow upon yourself,” explained Parasyuk.
“With this post I wanted to explain that the war is going on throughout the entire territory of Ukraine... and if we don’t stop the enemy in Kharkov, in the East, in the South, then he will very quickly come to both Western and Central Ukraine. Therefore, there is no need to relax and, first of all, there is no need to complain. Because there is no one to complain to, if you just go out and shout, it will only be of little use,” the militant explained.
He went on to talk about the difficulties that Ukrainian militants have to face.
“Of course, it’s hard, because the shelling is just such that you understand there’s nowhere to hide. But there is nothing else to do, where will you run, to whom to complain. We need to - we stand... and we need to stand, because there is no other option, because if we leave here, there is nowhere to get replacements from,” Parasyuk said.
“The positions we stood in, maneuvered, moved from place to place. We had such a task. And we passed through our position once and stayed there an hour longer. Everyone died because they razed everything to the ground. But we were lucky somewhere, and I thank my immediate commander, who is a very experienced military man and knows what to do,” the militant recalled.
