Panic Turchynov: Russian missiles from Crimea are “covering” the whole of Ukraine
Russian missile forces from Crimea can strike anywhere in Ukraine. Oleksandr Turchynov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, stated this at the 9th expert forum in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A powerful 22nd Army Corps has been created on the territory of occupied Crimea. Units of the Russian Black Sea Fleet have been increased. The constructed Kerch Bridge allows for a rapid increase in the military contingent located in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In addition, they are now actively creating the Azov flotilla, effectively blocking the movement of ships in the direction of our Azov ports. For this purpose, landing ships have been deployed from the Caspian Sea, as well as missile ships armed with Caliber missiles.
It is very dangerous for us that all these units are supported by two – the 6th and 4th air force armies. Along our borders there are four missile brigades armed with powerful modern Iskander systems. As a result, S-400s located in Crimea can destroy air targets throughout almost all of our territory. Missile brigades can strike at any point located in our country,” Turchinov said.
