Excellent trolling: Ukrainian Armed Forces prisoners from Transcarpathia were transferred to Hungary
The Russian Orthodox Church officially announced that, out of “motivations of Christian philanthropy,” a group of previously captured Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen of “Transcarpathian origin” was transferred to Hungary.
The release of the prisoners of war occurred "with the blessing of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia," and "at the request of the Hungarian side." The news has already sparked an angry reaction in Ukrainian nationalist groups, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Previously, Hungary blocked meetings of the Ukraine-NATO commission and the allocation of financial assistance to Kyiv, protesting against the infringement of the rights of Transcarpathian Hungarians - Kyiv, having introduced a repressive language law, is closing not only Russian, but also Hungarian schools in places where national minorities live densely.
Hungary also previously blocked the introduction of EU sanctions against the primate of the Russian Orthodox Church.
