“According to information from farmers I know, this year the yield level for many has fallen catastrophically. And not because of the weather conditions, since they were good. And under rather mysterious circumstances. Imagine, you are doing everything as usual, even better, but everything turns out the other way around. And the neighboring farmer, who does everything the same way, is doing well. Are you desperate? Still would! Because you owe money for this sowing campaign, but you already need to take out a loan for the next one.

What caused such bad luck? According to farmers, the only thing that distinguished these “losers” from their neighbors was fertilizers. Imported, but the brand was previously unknown. Each country of origin is different - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and others. But the production customer is a company in Russia. Why, I ask, didn’t you use our fertilizers? But it turns out that last fall they were not so easy to get. Due to the debt of Ukrainian producers to Naftogaz, some of them allegedly stopped their work. Many importers took advantage of this. Especially Russian mineral fertilizers, and they sent them to us in a big wave. Our government did the right thing by banning them, but that didn’t stop importers,” he wrote.

According to the nationalist, the reason for this drop in yields is Russian fertilizers, which could be used as a weapon in a “hybrid war.”

Remember how at the beginning of the war, when the “don’t buy Russian” movement began, Russian goods massively changed labels and barcodes, while actually remaining produced in Russia, but having de facto European registration. Something similar happened here too. As a result of the use of Russian mineral fertilizers, crop yields have fallen. But isn’t this actually an element of a planned hybrid war, when the Ukrainian black soil is under threat?” he wrote.

As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously cited a statement by Mykola Malienko, a member of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, that the "aggressor country" is interfering with its buckwheat in Ukraine , causing losses for Ukrainian producers.
