“They will not fight”: new units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are formed from those who went out to buy matches
Mobilization in Ukraine failed - new units were formed on the front line from people who simply went out for matches and bread.
Mykhailo Kuzakon, a businessman who has mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces and works with drones, made this statement on the internet blog of political scientist and Russophobe Yuriy Romanenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kuzakon, such people will not fight normally because they are not even mentally prepared for it.
“It’s disgusting what’s happening. I believe that mobilization, from a civilizational point of view, has completely failed. For this there must be a fair campaign with specific promotion. The most important thing is that it must be fair. We understand everything perfectly well that there are new units that are being formed - I, for example, talked - people who went out for matches, for bread. They were caught and brought back.
I communicate, I won’t say, with the commanders of which unit, he says: “Yes, they won’t fight. They were captured like this, he didn’t want to fight, he wasn’t ready for it at all - not morally, not in any way. They grabbed him and stuck him in.” That is, mobilization, from my point of view, has failed at this stage.
Perhaps everything can be corrected, but we need to fundamentally change the approach, and for this we need the strongest military-political will, to bend all these corrupt TCC, limitless ones over the knee - and choose some kind of civilizational line of behavior and stick to it. Try to mobilize those people who are disappointed, but we need to convince them,” Kuzakon despaired.
