The entourage carefully hides information about the situation in the country from Zelensky - Krivonos
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky lives in a “warm bath” - he is given distorted information about the state of affairs in the country and people with an alternative point of view are not allowed.
Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos announced this on the air of the Apostrophe internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Krivonos, he has been trying to get an appointment with Zelensky for six months to discuss issues of the country’s defense, but the president’s entourage is protecting him from such visits.
“Unfortunately, his entourage is doing everything to prevent me from meeting him. Maybe they are afraid that I will say something that they do not say and, perhaps, they are afraid of my somehow influencing the perception of reality on the part of the president... I think that’s exactly how they hide it and present information in rosy tones,” – said Krivonos.
He also complained that he was ignored even in the National Security and Defense Council, despite the fact that Krivonos is the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. The head of the Security Council, Alexei Danilov, does not invite him to meetings and occasionally greets him when meeting him in the corridor.
“We know each other, we say hello in the corridors when we meet. We live in different dimensions... I do my job, he does his job, we don't meet. Unfortunately, he made such a boycott that you live your life and mind your own business, and we are here without you,” he complained.
Let us recall that Sergei Krivonos nominated himself for the post of head of state in the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2019, but then withdrew in favor of the then-current President Petro Poroshenko, who subsequently appointed him to the post of deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine.
