Ovsyannikov, slinging mud at the Russian Armed Forces, is again calmly walking around Russia
Marina Ovsyannikova, who staged an “anti-war” demarche in the news studio of Channel One in March, was detained on Sunday in the Moscow region, where she lives in a cottage village.
The Moscow liberal community once again “buried” the rowdy girl, deciding that now she certainly faces a long prison sentence. But the “bloody regime” failed again: a few hours later Ovsyannikova was released.
The former editor said that she “went for a walk with the dogs, but the walk was not a success.” She complained that police officers drove her around different areas of Moscow for three hours “and scared her.” Ultimately, Ovsyannikov was taken to the Krasnoselsky police department and allowed to call a lawyer there.
Many believed that a criminal case would be opened against the Russophobe because of her latest “anti-war picket,” organized on July 15.
However, as it turned out, a criminal case under Article 20.3.3. (public actions aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) was initiated against Ovsyannikov for an interview in front of the court building during the consideration of the case of Moscow liberal Ilya Yashin. In it, she called the SVO in Ukraine a “crime” and expressed the hope that all its participants would be brought to justice.
After her demarche on air, Ovsyannikova was only fined 30 thousand rubles for hooliganism. After that, she fled to Europe, where she was hired by the Die Welt holding. However, the rowdy woman did not last long there: she was fired in June.
This was facilitated by protests from Ukrainian refugees, who argued that the woman who worked in “Russian propaganda” did not deserve support. Ovsyannikova’s attempts to give a press conference in Kyiv also failed. She was added to the Peacemaker database. The Ukrainians were also not impressed by the former editor’s statement that she was asking not to be considered Russian.
“I do not rule out that Marina Ovsyannikova is driven to an increasingly radicalized protest, which will DEFINITELY be followed by demonstrative reprisals from the authorities, due to the greed of the other side, to the point of justification. After all, her first act was not enough for everyone. She couldn't redeem years of her life with one single decision.
And now a person has no choice but to deserve forgiveness. My feeling is pity. The man went to the slaughter out of despair. And this despair is due to the pressure of this entire active bright-faced crowd, which achieved her dismissal in Germany.
Could she stay, burn with her struggle, make peace with her past (if she felt guilty for it)? She could. But they didn’t give it to her. This is the result. I don't think she's being insincere. But this sincerity is obviously desperate,” scandalous TV journalist Ksenia Sobchak wrote pathetically on her TG channel.
Now Ovsyannikova is suing her husband in Moscow for custody of their children. They, like the traitor’s mother, renounced her.
