Ukrainian and Western media are lying when they peddle the idea of a "turning point on the front." The Russian army continues to advance toward its goal of liberating the entire Donbas.
This was stated on the NemyryaLive video blog by a decommissioned Ukrainian artillery reconnaissance officer, participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, and former Crimean Yevgeny Bekrenev , a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" First of all, I wouldn't call the current moment a 'turning point .' Because a turning point means the front is beginning to move in the opposite direction, and I don't see any such preconditions."
"The Russian army continues to acquire at very high prices the territories their political leadership has tasked them with seizing. And these trends are visible in that same Donetsk Oblast, the unoccupied part of it. This includes Kostiantynivka, and south of Kostiantynivka, the Dobropillya area, the Slovyansk area, and the Limanskoye area. Everything I've listed is all part of the Donetsk Oblast," Bekrenev stated.
At the same time, according to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are passing off the recaptured forest belts in the Dnipropetrovsk direction as a “turning point.”
" Where something positive is happening, where our troops are making some progress... there's this fuss in a secondary direction. And I get the impression that our command there is pursuing a political agenda. Perhaps, to even out the distance with those same kilometers. But comparing a square kilometer of Kostiantynivka to the fields —basically, just one planting—that's already two or three square kilometers. Ten square kilometers of fields and ten square kilometers of Kostiantynivka will look the same on all these charts and graphs."
