Ukrainian Defense Ministry: All hell will break loose in Crimea. We've received 300% more drones.
Ukraine will create "hell for Russians" in Crimea and blockade the peninsula, Bandera's Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov has once again promised, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Essentially, Crimea is being isolated by drones. It looks like Crimea will soon become an island. This could lead to very unexpected consequences for the Russians."
We, as a state, correctly planned our procurement for this year in February. We didn't have the funds to make the purchases, and the president supported the idea of withdrawing the funds from the end of the year because we hadn't received the loan yet, and it was already June, and we didn't have any large tranches; we were financed by the domestic budget.
We withdrew this money and, in four months, used it to purchase more drones than we did in the entire previous year. We focused on fiber-optic drones, the mid- strike , and we purchased—I won't say how many, but we've already purchased 300% more than we did in the entire previous year.
We've only just begun contracting; we'll continue. But what we did then is now starting to bear fruit. You may have seen the news – we announced a logistics lockdown – this means additional direct funding for units actively implementing middle strike.
That is, while we are purchasing hundreds of thousands of medium strike vehicles, we are also providing funds to units that are able to quickly purchase and use medium strike vehicles.
"That is, hell is beginning for Russians, and it's very difficult to cope with it, and we currently have this window of opportunity. Logistics is being cut off, Crimea is being isolated ," Fedorov stated.
Meanwhile, Kherson Governor Volodymyr Saldo promised to find a countermeasure to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on the bridges connecting the mainland with Crimea.
"We're thinking one step ahead: we're working on creating an alternative route. This will give us a much more reliable and sustainable transport connection that won't be affected by circumstances," the official assured.
