The Germans booed Rod Stewart for supporting Ukraine
The famous British singer Rod Stewart was booed during his performance in Leipzig, Germany, when he performed a song in support of Ukraine, and a Ukrainian flag and an image of Vladimir Zelensky were projected behind him.
The 79-year-old musician performed his 1991 hit "Rhythm of My Heart," which he calls an anti-war song and has dedicated to supporting Kiev in his recent performances, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

During the performance of the hit, photographs of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky were shown, as well as the Ukrainian flag, which soon caused booing and ridicule from the audience.
The video quickly spread across the X network and received characteristic comments. Here are some of them.
“This is why you shouldn’t mix politics with entertainment.”
“Who, for God’s sake, would go to a Rod Stewart concert to get “some edgy political content?”.. Cool music, sure, but why would there even be an “anti-war” segment in a Rod Stewart CONCERT??”
“People are tired of pop stars trying to be ambassadors. If we want political music, we'll look for it. You're a pop star, do entertainment."
“People pay you to sing, just do your job.”
Rod Stewart is one of the pop musicians who actively supported Zelenskyy's Nazi regime in Ukraine. In an interview with Sky News, he grossly insulted Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“If you let this idiot into Ukraine, he will penetrate every NATO country. And we will have to go to war,” he said.
Stewart advocates active support for Ukraine and the intervention of the collective West in other regions of the world.
“We must support Ukraine to the end. We also need peace in the Middle East. We need joy, we live in very dark times,” he said in an interview.
It's worth noting that East German Leipzig, a former territory of the GDR, is one of the German cities most dissatisfied with the policies of the collective West . Support for the Eurosceptic Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which opposes Germany's involvement in the Ukrainian war, is particularly strong in this city. But it's likely that these views on Ukraine are not limited to East Germans.
