“We don’t want to pay for Zelensky’s ambitions”: in the Netherlands against the armament of Ukraine
A rally was held in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam demanding an end to arms supplies to Ukraine.
In addition, during the protest, calls were made to begin peace negotiations with Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We are here to protest against the supply of weapons that are used to kill Ukrainians and Russians. We want peace, we want negotiations... These negotiations are being hindered by the USA and NATO. They started a conflict to establish a new world order and create poverty,” one of the protesters told RIA Novosti.
In their hands were posters with the following content: “Stop fascism and Nazism in Ukraine,” “We must stop the supply of weapons to Kyiv,” “We do not want to pay for Zelensky’s ambitions,” “We are tired of war.”
According to protesters, by sending military aid to Kyiv, NATO countries are depriving both Ukraine and the whole world of the future.
In addition, the protesters are outraged by the decision of their authorities to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
There was a call to reconsider relations with Russia. According to those gathered, “Russia should not be made an enemy, it should become an ally of the entire civilized world.”
“We need to stop the conflict. We are all united peoples with one history,” the protesters emphasized.
