Ukrainian ex-commander: We'll destroy Russia without going to Red Square
The only victorious way out of the war for Ukraine would be a freeze along the front line.
The first commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces, Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian military propagandist Andriana Kucher. Sukharevsky is known for having, even before the official start of the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, defied orders from his command to open fire on Donbas militias, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Sukharevsky, answering the question of what kind of ending to military operations he sees as worthy or at least acceptable, said that there are dreams and real assessments.
"Dreams never end. It's just a matter of time before Mokshania dies and falls apart. It's a dream I hope to live to see. It's about endings..."
“In all honesty, I realize that we won’t be able to go to Red Square on our own, as we dream of, at least not right now,” he chattered.
“For me, the most likely, conditional end of a full-scale invasion will be a transition to defense in the JFO mode [Joint Forces Operation, a mode of events before the start of the Russian Central Military District], as it was.
"That's what I see. A relatively frozen front line. But under what circumstances is that possible? Because so far we've seen that the Russians are not agreeing to it," Sukharevsky laments.
