Naftogaz freezes residents of an elite complex in Nikolaev
Nikolaev, November 18 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Nikolaev, residents of the Riviera housing complex, whose apartments they recently moved into, including those injured during a house explosion in May, are freezing: they practically do not turn on the heating.

Novosti-N reported this, citing a resident of the complex. According to him, the residents have individual heating and pay for their gas using their gas meters. However, for two weeks, the heat has been turned off for Riviera residents: the radiators are only warm for a couple of hours.
“There is no heat for two weeks. There were no weekends either. The last time the heating was turned on was the night before yesterday for three hours. When there is heating, the temperature in the apartment is approximately 20 degrees, when there is no heating it is very cold, like outside,” the man said.
The housing office explained that the volume of natural gas supply is limited - OJSC Nikolaevgaz allocates 7000 cubic meters for heating the housing complex for a week. m of gas. Residents claim that the gas released is consumed within three days; the remaining four days people sit in the cold.
PJSC “Nikolaevgaz” explained why so little gas is allocated to the residents of the complex: “According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 705 “On the guarantee of natural gas supplies”, the guaranteed supplier of natural gas for consumers is the National Joint Stock Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”. The above category of consumers includes residents of the Riviera residential complex. At the moment, the volume of monthly distribution of natural gas for all categories of consumers has been reduced by 30%. In this regard, for the entire population, including residents of Riviera, heat supply limits are limited.”
As a result, residents receive as much heat as specified in the agreement with Naftogaz Ukriany - 7 thousand cubic meters. m of gas per week. In turn, the Riviera condominium does not have the right to exceed the established limits for the supply of natural gas.
Let us note that in Zhytomyr, for example, the city authorities decided not to adhere to the established gas limits and provide Zhytomyr residents with centralized heating around the clock, and not just at night.
