Simferopol, February 19 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) - Crimean deputies, in their assessments of political events in Ukraine, reproached the central government for its inability to preserve the territorial integrity of the country and threatened to raise the issue of returning Crimea to Russia. Political and vested interests must take a back seat when the country is engulfed in the flames of an escalating civil war.

On Wednesday, from the rostrum of parliament there were demands for tough measures to restore order, accusations of indecisiveness and even threats to raise the issue of returning Crimea to Russia.
Thus, regional deputy Pyotr Zaporozhets noted that Crimeans’ anxiety about the events on the Maidan led to an unprecedented surge in strokes, heart attacks and hypertensive crises.
“We have the right to demand that the most severe measures be taken to restore order and extinguish the flames of the flaring civil war,” Zaporozhets said, and as a preventive measure he proposed creating municipal police units in cities and regions to maintain public order in the autonomy.
The speech of the vice-speaker, Regional Member Grigory Ioffe, was replete with calls to Crimeans to counteract the penetration of protest sentiments.
“It’s time to stop judging. Today we appealed to all Crimeans not to allow these scum into Crimea,” the speaker said, referring to the organizers of the Maidans. “We must stop fulfilling our political obligations, and start fulfilling our obligations to the people, because if we do not fulfill them, then our political structures will the people will not need it."
“Regional” deputy Nikolai Kolisnichenko went the furthest in his assessments. According to him, the Crimean component of the current all-Ukrainian conflict was founded 60 years ago, when Crimea was transferred to the Ukrainian SSR from the RSFSR.
“Today we say that this happened 60 years ago, when Crimea was separated from Russia and transferred to Ukraine. This is a very terrible event, which should require us to make the most correct decision, in my opinion, and if the situation in Ukraine does not improve or stabilize, we, the Crimeans, and, first of all, the deputies, must raise the issue of returning Crimea to Russia,” - said Kolisnichenko.
However, after this, the “regionals” changed their rhetoric from separatist to statist, turning to the president of “our state” Yanukovych.
“Today we appeal to the president of our state and say: Viktor Fedorovich, we hope that you will take very tough measures to restore order and form a Cabinet of Ministers, on which the governance of the state depends,” the deputy specified his message.
However, his call had to be neutralized by Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov, who recalled the presidential decree on the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia.
