In the West, Zelensky is despised behind his back - ex-adviser to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council
Despite the ostentatious sympathy and hugs on camera, the West is very critical of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Former adviser to the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Boris Barabash, stated this on the Israeli television channel Iton TV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Barabash, Zelensky’s arrogance and lack of professionalism, coupled with Ukrainian corruption, discourages the desire to help Ukraine.
“The problem is that Western elites are very critical of Zelensky. I have to tell you straight. Publicity is one thing, and what actually exists is another. Corruption scandals, his lack of professionalism - there are many reasons. His some elements of behavior, in relation to, for example, the former British Minister of Defense. He is an emotional person, I don’t understand him. He is in a public position, you need to restrain yourself, understand what and to whom you are saying...
In general, I want to tell you this - there is some critical attitude towards Zelensky, towards the state of corruption here. After all, this is an argument - as soon as someone says that Ukraine needs help, the counter-arguments sound like this: “We would be glad, but where is the money, where are the weapons, where are those billions of dollars, let them give an account,” Barabash concluded.
