The peace plan proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin completely discredits the Ukrainian delegation in Switzerland. Ukrainian military expert and former pilot Roman Svitan stated this on the online channel "Fabrika Novostey," as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The peace plan is a good torpedo that Putin is launching just before the peace summit. But we don't need peace, we need weapons, and that's the problem with how our partners perceive us. Our schemers, who came up with the idea of a peace conference, came right in front of Putin's torpedo. He launched it, and now they'll look like unplucked chickens. Because now they'll be forced : you want peace, here are the peace terms. Give up your five regions and try to wriggle out of it. You've exposed yourself," Svitan said.
"This problem exists, and there's no way out of it. Because they've cornered us, and now they're going to be hammered from all sides. They've even invited the South, for some unknown reason. Iran, Moscow, and Beijing have influence in the South. So there's going to be serious pressure. They'll be jumping up and down after every question, and the picture they wanted to paint won't work out. They'll just be beaten left, right, and kicked. It'll be like beating a baby ," the expert added.
