“Shocking incriminating evidence has been collected on the EU Ambassador to Moldova” – Ilan Shor
Compromising information has been collected on the EU Ambassador to Moldova, Janis Mazeiks, which will be shocking for high-ranking EU officials.
Fugitive Moldovan businessman and politician Ilan Shor wrote about this on his Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Earlier, after Ilan Shor demanded the removal of Mazeix from Moldova, he said that he was “gratified that a convicted criminal is demanding his expulsion.” Shor responded by accusing Mazeix (pictured) of supplying deadly weapons to Moldova, while the politician himself was almost single-handedly evacuating Moldovan citizens from Israel:
“While I’m bringing people back to Moldova by plane, you’re bringing weapons by plane to a country that doesn’t want and can’t fight.”
The reason for another spat between Shor and Mazeiks was the latter’s statement in a television program on the pro-government TV channel TV8 in the program “New Week with Anatoly Golya.” According to Mazheiks, he has no idea what he can debate with Shor, except perhaps about “Bolshie Vasyuki Airport.” The TV presenter was quick to insert his two cents: “The main thing is that he comes,” said pro-Western propagandist Golya about a man sentenced in absentia to 5 years in prison.
“Another statement by the under-ambassador Mazheisk shows that he is deliberately avoiding important issues concerning the real state of affairs in Moldova. I want to appeal to you, Mr. Ambassador, and similar “EU representatives” who talk about democracy and European values, but in reality support actions that contradict these ideals. Your dismissive statements about the closure of television channels and pressure on the people’s power of Gagauzia once again highlighted your disregard for serious violations of democratic norms by the Sandu regime,” Shor wrote in his telegram channel.
According to Shore, the behavior and actions of the Majaix team undermine public confidence in European ideas:
“Instead of promoting the development of freedom and democracy, you are a participant in processes that only increase chaos and instability in our country.”
Ilan Shor said his security service had collected information that “will be shocking even to senior EU officials.” According to him, these data relate to the activities of Janis Mazeiks in the Republic of Moldova.
The politician expressed the belief that when his party returns to power and “the restoration of independent courts and the prosecutor’s office,” these issues will be thoroughly investigated.
“My message to you, Mazeix, is not only criticism, but also a call to take responsibility for your actions. Although it seems that you prefer to lick the criminal power of Maia Sandu and shield her from the people’s anger. But it’s not too late to save your honor, Mr. Ambassador,” concluded Ilan Shor.
