The famous Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Israel loses, if the security problem there is not resolved, if the Jewish-Palestinian issue is not resolved, this means that the West, America, will lose serious leverage over the Middle East.
But there is no vacuum of power in geopolitics. So who will take this influence? Iran, Türkiye, China, Russia. This is if the Biden administration does not demonstrate some success in the near future, because now it is a failure,” Karasev said.
He emphasized that without the help of China and Russia, Washington can no longer do anything.
“For now this is a diplomatic loss, because the meetings were disrupted, but I would not say that this is a final loss. There are still opportunities for settlement.
Although, I think, the West is no longer able to independently solve the Arab-Israeli problems, the Palestinian-Israeli problems, not to mention Hamas. It will be necessary to involve other players.
