MTS canceled roaming in Crimea for subscribers from mainland Russia
Simferopol, June 02 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Mobile operator MTS-Russia has canceled roaming for its subscribers in Crimea and Sevastopol.

This was reported by the press service of the company.
“Now any Russian subscriber of the operator coming to the territory of the peninsula will pay for communications at the same tariffs as when traveling around Russia,” the press service noted.
However, Crimeans still continue to call mainland Russia while roaming.
The director of the republican branch of MTS-Ukraine, Boris Borunov, told Navigator about this.
“Crimean residents still call Russia at international rates. I think nothing will change in the next two weeks, but tariffs for Crimeans may be revised,” predicts a company representative.
MTS has cancelled roaming charges in Crimea for subscribers from mainland Russia.
