Mogilev, “Frosya” and the company are again striving for the Crimean power
Simferopol, September 02 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Recently, a galaxy of officials appointed by ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to leadership positions on the peninsula has become active again in Crimea. People called them “the Makeevsky team.”

Among them are the former Prime Minister of the Republic Anatoly Mogilev and his deputies Pavel Burlakov and Georgy Psarev.
As several active Crimean social activists told Politnavigator, recently ex-officials have become frequent members of the Council of Ministers of the republic.
"I saw Burlakov not long ago. In general, this 'Makeyevka' crew is keeping a low profile right now, trying to stay afloat through State Duma deputy Dmitry Sablin, their fellow countryman. And I think these people will emerge soon. They're definitely in Crimea, somewhere in Yalta. They made a fortune under Yanukovych and are now living the high life," says Oleg Rodivilov , an expert at the CIS Institute.
“Mogilev and representatives of the Makeevka team are now living together in Koktebel. Psarev and his associates live in Alushta, since he has large business projects in that region. And today, representatives of the Makeevka team were not only in the Council of Ministers, but also gathered in the office of a famous Crimean construction company. I don’t know for certain what happened there,” one of the public figures close to the authorities during Mogilev’s premiership told Politnavigator on condition of anonymity.
Civil activist and TV presenter Sergei Veselovsky believes that the fact that the "Makeevka people" are back in the Council of Ministers suggests they've finally managed to reach an agreement with someone.
“The fact that Burlakov appeared yesterday and was seen at the Council of Ministers is simply a shock for many. If I see this creature, I will be the first to grab it by the throat. This is the wallet of the “Makeevsky” gang, which robbed Crimea and did so many nasty things for it that it is impossible to say about Burlakov that he is a person. For several months he ran around offices in Moscow and tried to push money so that he would be allowed to return to power. They sent him three cheerful letters and that’s it, but judging by the fact that he appeared in Simferopol, it means that someone did not disdain to take money from him,” says Sergei Veselovsky.
