Simferopol, May 17 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Saturday evening in Simferopol, the Crimean Tatar action “Light a fire in your heart” will not take place.

Member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars Eskender Bariev reported this on his Facebook page.
“Lenin Square is cordoned off! Provocations are possible! We are not allowed to hold a non-political action - a requiem! On this tragic date, we cannot allow our people to be mocked! Therefore, in order to prevent provocation, we are canceling the rally on Lenin Square. Everyone can come to the mosque at Akmecheti for a prayer service and action,” the Mejlis member wrote.
Let us remind you that the action “Light a fire in your heart” was held annually on the evening of May 17 on Lenin Square in the center of the Crimean capital.
