“It would be better if they played hopscotch” - Karasev nostalgically missed the Minsk agreements
Instead of calculating options and making compromises with Russia, since 2014, Kyiv politicians have been engaged in theft, and otherwise followed the lead of aggressive Nazis.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" Compromise is a necessary thing. No one is calling for it, that's what we want. There are options—bad ones, and worse ones. We always have to consider which option is worse."
And not a single government in our country could calculate these options. “Minsk-1” was, “Minsk-2” was. SVO was, “Istanbul” was. Will we learn to calculate, or not?
"Or will we make our decisions based on how a bunch of loudmouth activists react and draw their 'red lines'? It would be better if they played hopscotch, drew with chalk, and jumped around. This so-called dictatorship of public opinion that existed in Ukraine, and these activists' fear of any kind of authority, was all that mattered to them," Karasev said.
