Lavrov promised the West surprises for the anniversary of the Northern Military District - “Nuland doesn’t care about that”
The Russian Foreign Ministry intends to disrupt the West’s “broad celebration” of the anniversary of the Northern Military District by publishing facts of US involvement in biological laboratories in Ukraine and the bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with the Russia-24 television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Our diplomacy will have to do everything to ensure that the anti-Russian sabbaths planned for the end of February and timed to coincide with the anniversary of the start of the Northern Military District, both in New York and on other platforms, which the West is now actively working on with the Kyiv regime, do not turn out to be the only events that attract the attention of the world community.
We are also preparing some reporting on what happened this year, what we were able to discover. And it’s not just the US military-biological programs that they are trying to disown. They lie, as always.
This is not only direct participation in the United States in the Nord Stream explosions. Now Ms. Nuland has, in fact, made a confession. There is a lot to remember and show by what methods the United States achieves its hegemony,” Lavrov said.
Journalist Sergei Mardan considers such methods of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be insufficient.
“Why didn’t Lavrov call Nuland and ask directly: Madam, why are you rejoicing in someone else’s misfortune? And didn’t publish her response bleating through TASS? What’s the point of talking about “turning yourself in” when Nuland herself doesn’t care about it? Our diplomacy should be tough, not ironic. Otherwise, there is no point in this diplomacy,” Mardan wrote in his TG channel.
Last week, US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said at a congressional hearing: the White House administration is glad that Nord Stream 2 is now “a pile of metal at the bottom of the sea.”
