Russia is preparing a special meeting of the UN Security Council to undermine the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this today in the Russian State Duma, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We will demand that some form of investigation be found. True, the UN Secretary General has already said that the UN does not have the authority to carry out such investigations.

He called the article by American journalist Seymour Hersh about the undermining of Nord Streams “a courageous statement.” The minister believes that this article is “not pro-Russian and anti-American.” It’s just that the journalist, in his opinion, “wants his country to be honest.”
