After the start of the SVO, as is known, most Western automakers curtailed cooperation with Russia. The vacated market was occupied by the Chinese. But they too will gradually be forced to localize production in the Russian Federation.

“Currently there are no left-hand drive Japanese cars, and China is the only opportunity to import them. Toyota RAV4, Toyota Corolla, Camry, Honda, Subaru are very popular, and interest in Chinese electric cars, in particular, Zeekr 001 and Voyah Free, is growing.”

It is most profitable, the head of the company notes, to buy so-called “passing” foreign cars aged 3-5 years, with an engine capacity of up to two liters - these cars have benefits for customs clearance, since they are imported not for resale, but for a specific buyer:

“We have a preferential scrap collection for our clients, because we deliver directly to the end buyer, and he does not have to overpay huge sums for this,” explains Dolgov.

In addition, there are no problems with spare parts - most brands produce them in factories in China, so there are no issues with delivery. This also applies to cars that are delivered to Russia in less than a month.

“Delivery of a car from Japan takes 21 days from the date of payment. From Korea - 14 days, from China - 20. All processes have already been streamlined, everything happens very quickly and without delays. Customs clearance of a car takes on average up to 10 days, then we ship the car throughout Russia. Each car is insured for the duration of delivery,” notes Dolgov.
