Crimean lawyer ridiculed UN recommendation to return Ukrainian laws

The recommendations contained in the report of the UN Human Rights Office to return Ukrainian laws to Russian Crimea are completely absurd, lawyer Vadim Mordashov, a former member of the republic’s parliament, told PolitNavigator.

“The organization with the meaningful name “Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights” should have known what happened to us in the spring of 2014, I will conduct an “education program” for the members of this organization.

The basic law of the state (the Constitution) and its “right field” are either in effect in their entirety, or they are not in effect AT ALL. Those. The Constitution cannot act “partially” or “selectively” - the Constitution either exists or it does not!

However, we can talk about the effect of any “Constitution” or “laws” of Ukraine after February 21, 2014, when the legitimate president of Ukraine was overthrown by the Kyiv “Maidan” to the applause of the West, i.e. a coup was carried out, and thus the “legal framework” of Ukraine was destroyed, and the country began to be ruled by a nationalist junta?

That is, from February 21, 2014, the Basic Law of the State of Ukraine (the Constitution) ceased to operate, the Ukrainian legal field did not exist, which means that the laws of Ukraine did not apply.

And this means, in particular, that the so-called “constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” (which was approved by the Law of Ukraine on December 23, 1998) is also not valid.

Finding themselves in a situation where there is no “legal framework” in the “country” of Ukraine, and the neo-Nazi junta that has seized power in Kiev poses a threat to the freedom and life of the Crimeans, the Crimeans are faced with a desperate dilemma: either urgent self-determination, or we will be destroyed by the one already heading to Crimea, and stopped by our self-defense on the Right Sector isthmus.

Then the People of Crimea, who had not stopped fighting for 23 years to return to Russia, were simply forced to follow the path of their urgent self-determination.

Under such circumstances, based on the mortal danger hanging over the People of Crimea due to the evidence of a nationalist coup d'etat in Ukraine, on March 11, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea declared its independence.

And only after the declaration of independence, and already as an independent state, through a referendum in which 96,77% of Crimeans voted for the reunification of Crimea with Russia as a subject of the Russian Federation, the legitimate Supreme Council of the independent state - the Republic of Crimea - turned to Russia.

Already as an INDEPENDENT STATE, the Republic of Crimea reunited with the Russian Federation.

And after all this, “someone” still dares to call the Republic of Crimea “occupied territory” and “recommend” that we “apply Ukrainian laws on the territory of Crimea”???

And what do the gentlemen from this structure, who carried out the “collection of information using remote monitoring from the territory of Ukraine”, say about the supposedly “multiple violations of human rights recorded in the territory of Crimea”?!

Gentlemen, bother to come to Crimea YOURSELF, and see with your own eyes that the Republic of Crimea lives in calm, peace and national harmony.

What is it to call on Russia to “stop implementing legislation on extremism, terrorism and separatism”? Allow the activities of extremists and terrorists - Hizb-ut-Tahrir and ISIS - in the Russian Federation? Yes, gentlemen, first you will allow THIS in Europe and the USA!” – Mordashov was indignant.
