During the five years of being part of the Russian Federation, Crimea has surpassed many Russian regions in terms of living standards.
This was stated by the Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vladislav Volodin, speaking from the rostrum of the State Council of Crimea, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The head of the Russian parliament emphasized that the republic in the near future will become an equal partner in the economy for the entire Russian Federation.
“It would be correct to say that the gross regional product in 2018 amounted to 217 rubles per capita. This is the 200th place in Russia. Let me remind you that five years ago the republic was in penultimate place in this indicator. Look at the movement, or, to put it correctly, breakthrough in economic development that Crimea has made.
By the way, Crimea is ahead of Sevastopol in terms of gross domestic product per capita. This should also be noted. This is the merit of the leadership of Crimea, the State Council, those who work in the economy and, of course, this is a very good indicator. For comparison, in 2013 this figure was only 92 rubles based on the results of the 400th year. The industrial production index increased by 13% from 2014 to 2018. Over the same period, throughout the country, the industrial production index grew by 79,8%.
This suggests that the Crimean economy and industrial production are catching up with the Russian economy by leaps and bounds in order to become one of the full partners in the economy and further so that we move together... The volume of investments per capita has increased compared to 2015 by 4,3. 25 times – from 107,6 to 76 thousand rubles per person. This is a huge investment. In the ranking of regions by quality of life, the republic, at the end of last year, rose from 2015th place, which it occupied in 52, to XNUMXnd place,” Volodin said.
