Kremenchug got rid of the sun of Russian poetry
A bust of the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was dismantled today in the Poltava region.
This was reported by the press secretary of the Kremenchuk City Council, Yulia Perepelyatnik, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.

She clarified that the monument is in accordance with the decision of the Kremenchug City Council dated November 18 “On organizational and legal measures to remove/relocate an object of history - the monument to the Russian poet and writer A.S. Pushkin from the public space of the city of Kremenchug.”
Now the bust will be located on the territory of the municipal enterprise “Improvement of Kremenchug”.

Before this, the monument in Kremenchug was located on Pushkin Boulevard, which on November 18 was renamed the Ukrainian Renaissance Boulevard.
Let us recall that after February 24, a frenzied campaign of de-Russification and uprooting of everything that has anything to do with Russia began in Ukraine: streets and settlements were renamed, monuments were demolished, and so on.
