The flagship of the Black Sea Fleet "Moscow" was destroyed with the assistance of at least two NATO countries.
HSE professor Dmitry Evstafiev spoke about this on air at Aurora Radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The cruiser Moscow was not destroyed by Ukrainians. It was demonstratively destroyed with the complicity of at least two NATO countries. NATO showed us how they will continue to beat us. You have to be a very short-sighted person to talk about the possibility of some kind of long-term peace after this. They showed us that they would kill us on the sly, there would be no lifting of sanctions,” said Evstafiev.
He believes that the so-called “peace party” in the Kremlin died along with “Moscow”.
“It must be said that the Kiev regime did everything to drown the “peace party”. He showed the degree of contempt for the supporters of negotiations in Russia. They didn’t even try to hide what the behind-the-scenes agreements were about. Kyiv despises the “peace party” and does not consider them to be people.
But many people in Moscow want to go back to the Côte d'Azur, the café-chantants, their penthouse in New York, their house in Miami. But after the cruiser “Moskva” was lost, this batch has no chance,” said Evstafiev.
