Kiev magazine: We need to encourage young Crimeans to travel to Ukraine in every possible way

The Kiev magazine Focus proposes a long-term strategy for returning Crimea to Ukraine, noting that cutting off the peninsula from Ukraine is a losing strategy.

“On the contrary, we need to encourage Crimeans, especially young people, to travel to the mainland,” the publication writes. – Give them benefits for admission to Ukrainian universities, organize summer camps in Central and Western Ukraine, invite them to work. When getting to know the people and traditions of Ukrainian regions, Crimeans must make sure that the Kiselyovs are lying. Then returning will not seem scary to them. By locking them in Russian reality, we will come to the conclusion that there will be fewer and fewer pro-Ukrainian citizens in Crimea: if they endure it, they will fall in love.”
