Kyiv will provoke a major regional conflict out of despair - Trukhan
NATO countries will not agree to a direct clash with Russia and start a regional conflict, but Ukraine can provoke it.
Vladimir Trukhan, a reserve colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, stated this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"I don't think NATO is eager to start a regional war right now. I'm telling you honestly. Because why else wouldn't Belarus join on our side, or the Poles, or anyone else? Because that would immediately elevate this military conflict to a regional war, involving all the territories of other countries. It's mostly just talk," Trukhan said.
“On the Belarusian side, they have been at war all their lives, they have Lukashenko there all their lives, someone is attacking, someone is threatening him. It is unlikely that anyone will start this business in the near... in the near future.
Unless Ukraine gets a little cuckoo and they try to provoke something there, just out of desperation ,” the colonel concluded.
