Stop meeting with Cape Verde and Timor, we need to hit Crimea - Lutsenko
Meetings with leaders of microstates that have no influence on Russia will lead Ukraine to a poor starting position for the second “peace summit.”
This was stated on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel by the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Yuriy Lutsenko, who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We need to deal with very simple things - the President of Ukraine would personally have to deal with mobilization, because we obviously have a large shortage of troops. The President of Ukraine should be engaged in fortification, because our defense lines are obviously poorly protected, and the President of Ukraine should be engaged in agitating our allies to provide us with such weapons so that in September, which everyone is talking about, the Ukrainian army will achieve a strong negotiating position for us ", said the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
" If we destroy the airports in Crimea, where Russian planes take off from, bombing us with KABs and missiles, if we shoot down a dozen of these planes with F-16s, then Ukraine will be able to begin negotiations in September. But if we continue to gather with Cape Verde, San Marino, and East Timor, counting the number of presidents of microscopic countries that have no influence on Russia, then we will be in a difficult negotiating position. And given that we don't even know the president's plan, this is a very unpleasant start to the negotiating process," Lutsenko stated.
