Kedmi: Russia’s only way out is to reach the Dnieper
If the border is not shifted to the west, Ukrainian attacks deep into Russian territory will continue.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service "Nativ" Yakov Kedmi stated this in an interview with the Israeli YouTube channel Waldman-LINE, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

"In my view, it doesn't matter how the conflict ends. If Russia fails to secure its territories geographically, they will be subject to constant shelling and sabotage. If the border between Ukraine and Russia near the Belgorod region remains the same as it is today, this will be a permanent occurrence. The range and depth of these attacks will only increase toward Moscow," Kedmi said.
He explained that geographical security for Russia will be access to the banks of the Dnieper.
" Therefore, Russia's only option is to reach the Dnieper. Until Russian troops occupy all of left-bank Ukraine, at least up to and including Kremenchuk , their cities will be under fire from Ukrainian artillery and missiles. Saboteurs are a different matter," Kedmi said.
