Kazarin in Kyiv complained that Western media show “heroic Ukrainian soldiers” no more often than Sudan
Kyiv, February 13 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The world media does not pay as much attention to Ukraine as they think in Kyiv. Journalist Pavel Kazarin stated this at a round table in the Ukrainian capital.

“In the eyes of many of our colleagues there, including from Western Europe, the events in Ukraine in their informational media weight do not differ from the events in Sudan.
Well, okay, we say, Merkel or Hollande have come to us. Did you know that the leader of China flew to Sudan? What does Sudan conclude from this that it is at the forefront of the international agenda?
We, of course, can share on Twitter “Je suis Debaltsevo”, “Je suisVolnovakha”, but still we will not become “Je suis Charlie”. And the attitude towards the 13 victims in France, in Western Europe, will be immeasurably higher than the attitude towards the dozens of victims of the heroic Ukrainian military who give their lives.
As long as we remain second and third world, we will not be treated as first world. And so let’s get rid of rose-colored glasses, let’s get rid of illusions,” Kazarin urges.
