Karasev: The insignificant Ukrainian “elite” does not care about their own country
Politicians of sovereign and independent countries care about the positions of the state for years to come, but Ukrainian “people’s representatives” worry only about fame and money.
Kiev political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People, let’s say, large countries that are not only independent, but also sovereign, where the elite is involved in the country, they think about the future of the country for 50 years.
One moment like this. Russia, of course, is an aggressor and so on. But the concept of Arctic development was already 15 years ago. They understood that the Arctic, because of global warming, the Arctic - energy reserves... Next: competition for the Arctic between Canada, the USA, Russia and so on - there is a concept, “we are working.” There are analytical headquarters, there are academic institutes, there are professors.
When these people taught and wrote notes to the Central Committee, this was a real school of analytics. And, by the way, she still remained in Moscow. There is also a lot of ballast there, but this school remains. And this must be understood. Why did our politicians come? For fame, for status, go on air, make money,” the political scientist noted.
