A historical failure awaits the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the elections - experts
Communist Party candidate Nikolai Kharitonov may not take second place in the upcoming presidential elections for the first time in modern Russian history. He will score only 6%.
This was announced at a press conference in Moscow by the head of the Expert Clubs of Russia project, Sergei Chernakov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“When it comes to local elections, people think in economic logic. When it comes to presidential elections, they suddenly begin to think about the greatness of the country and the candidate who corresponds to this image. And even economists associate such a person with someone - more than a candidate offering economic benefits that works in regional elections. This is why the communists are now losing their voices,” Chernakov said.
RANEPA Vice-Rector Andrei Polosin predicts second place in the elections for LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky, because this party allegedly inherited from the late Vladimir Zhirinovsky to voice claims to the authorities that others do not dare voice.
Political strategist Evgeny Minchenko is betting on the “liberal” candidate of the New People party, Vladislav Davankov, taking into account the age factor. He believes that voters of generations X and Y will like the fact that this politician spoke without a tie, signed for other candidates and spoke out against obscurantism, denunciation and witch hunts.
“Candidates Kharitonov and Slutsky are candidates of anger. They fight something and resist something. And Davankov is the candidate of calm and common sense, balance. Like, why are we looking for enemies, let's look for friends. It seems to me that this emotional message can resonate with voters,” Minchenko reasoned.
The Communist Party candidate faces historic failure in the elections, experts say.
