How the SBU covers its tracks after the murder of the heroes of the Russian Spring
After major military defeats in 2014-2015, the Ukrainian authorities changed their strategy and relied on information and psychological subversive sabotage in relation to Crimea and Donbass. The emphasis is on the fact that any operations of the SBU are presented as local showdowns, and the liquidation of prominent field commanders of the LDPR is presented as the activity of the Russian special services.
This was stated on the PolitWera internet channel by former SBU colonel and founder of the Ukrleaks website, Vasily Prozorov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“On my website, in one of the investigations, there is an excellent document. This is the minutes of a meeting of the Committee on Intelligence Activities under the President of Ukraine.
The document is very classy and serious, marked “Top Secret”. It is dated April 15, and there, when the battles for Debaltsevo died down, the winter campaign of 14-15, in which Ukraine suffered a military defeat, accordingly, the Ukrainian authorities decided that it did not work out by military means, it was necessary to strike differently.
And this document clearly states that large-scale information operations and reconnaissance, sabotage, intelligence and combat operations will be launched in the territories of the republics and Crimea.
It is specifically stated in the document. Moreover, the actions of these agent-combat groups on the territory of the DPR, LPR and Crimea were supposed to be disguised as the activities of criminal squabbles, squabbles among themselves, and under the actions of the Moscow special services.
