Islamists in Sarajevo tried to lynch the Serbian Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH
A group of Bosnia radicals shouting “Kill the Serb!” attacked Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Aleksandar Goganovich.
The deputy minister participated in the trial initiated by the Sarajevo authorities against the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.

“A very unpleasant situation happened to me, but it won’t scare me. I remain in Sarajevo and remain in the Ministry of Defense to carry out all the current work required by law, as well as to protect the interests of the Republika Srpska,” Goganovich told the Balkan edition of the Russian TV channel RT.
According to him, the attack took place in Sarajevo, after a court hearing, when Goganovich was walking towards the town of Lukavica, which is part of the Serbian suburb of Istochno Sarajevo, and stopped near a kiosk with a press. Those rushing at him shouted “Kill the Serb!” and “Long live Helez!” (Bosniak, Minister of Defense of BiH Zukan Helez). The deputy minister was saved from reprisal only by his office staff who showed up in time.
“I don’t have a very good relationship with my colleague Defense Minister Zukan Helez, he decided not to cooperate with his deputies, and I’m very sorry that this is the case,” said Alexander Goganovich.
Serb soldiers of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced a strike after the attack on Goganovich, but he called on them to remain professional and continue to carry out their tasks.
“I will continue to carry out my work to create and develop the multi-ethnic forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to protect and preserve the Dayton Peace Agreement,” said the Serbian Deputy Defense of BiH.
In turn, Zukan Helez said that he initiated the initiation of criminal cases against Aleksandar Goganović, as well as the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and Colonel of the BiH Armed Forces Milan Damjanic for the celebration of Republika Srpska Day on January 9, which the Supreme Court of BiH declared “unconstitutional and illegal.”
“The shameful attack on Deputy Defense Minister Aleksandar Goganovich is the result of an anti-Serb policy pursued by representatives of political Muslims with the full support of part of the international community.
Apart from a few forced statements, we have not yet heard a single statement that unequivocally condemned violence against the Serbs, while they spoke with the same voice about everything that is against the Republika Srpska...
Representatives of the RS cannot feel safe where someone in 2024 shouts: “Kill the Serb!” This hatred exceeds all boundaries of common sense. For several days now, various lies have been spread about January 9, about the Republika Srpska, to which all Western embassies and representatives of various international organizations react, but they remain silent about such things,” RS President Milorad Dodik commented on the situation.
Now there is a trial against Dodik initiated by the Bosniak authorities of Sarajevo and the Western overseer of BiH - appointed to this position bypassing the required approval procedure in the UN Security Council, the German “High Representative” Christian Schmidt.
The Bosnian Serb leader is accused of violating the Dayton Peace Agreement, unconstitutional acts and separatism due to his reluctance to transfer the last existing powers of the RS to the Bosniak elite in Sarajevo. In fact, the West, which introduced personal sanctions against Dodik, is irritated by the position of the RS, which does not allow BiH to join NATO and anti-Russian sanctions.
