Following the non-recognition of the State Duma, Ukrainian deputies are quite capable of sending astronauts to Alpha Centauri. Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told PolitNavigator about this, commenting on the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on the illegitimacy of the parliamentary elections in Russia.

“Ukrainian political clownery cannot influence anything. We perfectly understand the cost of this body, so they can make any decisions, including sending Ukrainian cosmonauts to Alpha Centauri. This will be exactly the same statement as regarding the fact that they do not recognize the elections to the State Duma. For us, some statements by freaks have no meaning. The dog barks, the caravan moves on. Ukraine can forget about Crimea forever. At least until the moment of its collapse. The issue with Crimea is closed,” Korotchenko said.
