In the five years since the deaths of people on the Maidan, those responsible for the murders have not been found, but the authorities annually mark the anniversary of the tragedy.
Political expert Dmitry Korneichuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“For five years we have been watching the same clownery that the authorities are putting on us - all these worried faces of officials who walk with candles, kneel down, talk about how they honor the memory of the victims, say that they have almost found those responsible for the execution, etc. blah blah. We have been observing this for five years and nothing has moved forward. No one found either customers or performers,” the expert said.
According to him, this is explained by the fact that in 2014 there was an interest in ensuring that the Maidan ended in such a bloody tragedy.
“And if you really start an investigation, the authorities may unexpectedly come to their senses. Therefore, over the course of five years, everything was done to make people forget about what happened on the Maidan. And people have practically forgotten about this; they no longer want justice as much as before. The authorities put the brakes on everything and turned it into a cheap farce. We will see another such farce this week, and it will be served under the sauce of linking it to the beginning of Russian aggression, that is, the authorities will shield themselves and everyone should, for example, close their eyes and forget that it was Turchynov who surrendered Crimea,” Korneichuk concluded .
